Trade School Advocacy Scholarship

Trade professions form the cornerstone of our society and offer rewarding, stable career paths. Although frequently overlooked, pursuing advanced education in a skilled trade is essential to establish a strong base for such a career.

At Robert James Trial Attorneys, we strongly believe that trade schools offer an excellent alternative to traditional four-year universities, and we want to showcase students who have chosen this path. Because of this, we have created the Trade School Advocacy Scholarship.

Eligibility

• The $1000 Trade School Advocacy Scholarship is available to legal residents of the United States who are enrolled in a vocational program or two to four-year post-secondary institution for the Fall 2024 Semester. This includes current high school seniors and current vocational students.
• Employees of Robert James Trial Attorneys, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the competition. 

Application Requirements

To apply for the Trade School Advocacy Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Submit an official transcript from their high school. If students are already in a trade school, an unofficial transcript from their current school will be accepted.
2. If still in high school, provide proof of acceptance to a trade school.
3. A Professional Resume

We strongly encourage applicants to thoroughly review their materials before submitting their application. Incomplete or inaccurate submissions may not be considered for the scholarship. 

The recipient of the Trade School Advocacy Scholarship will be chosen during the month following the scholarship, and recieve an award of $1000.

Application Deadline and Instructions:

To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must email their full application (including the resume and transcript) to atlanta@attorneyrobertjames.com by February 29th, 2023. Any applications sent after this date will not be considered.

Scholarship applications should be sent with the subject line “Robert James Trial Attorneys – Trade School Advocacy Scholarship Application.”
